How can a SEEM Student Chapter be initiated?

  • A SEEM Student Chapter can be initiated by remitting the fee and submitting required documents to SEEM Headquarters
  • Colleges can constitute department – wise subunits of the Chapter, with a faculty -in-charge for each sub unit

Documents and Materials to be submitted:

  • Name and Contact Details of Principal, Faculty–in – Charge, Student Secretary and Members in the prescribed format

Who can start a SEEM Student Chapter?

  • Any Engineering College / Professional College / Arts and Science College in India

What is the Fee?

25000 for up to 100 students
  • Additional memberships at Rs. 150 per student
  • No additional fee for institutional membership
  • Fee covers the entire course duration of a student How can the payment be made?
  • Cheque/DD in favour of Society of Energy Engineers and Managers payable at Trivandrum
  • Fee for other training sessions and programs will be worked out on a case to case basis
  • Neft Transfer to:

How does the Chapter function?

  • Monthly Chapter Meetings in the College on the first Wednesday of every month to plan activities / guidance required / queries/ subject discussions
  • SEEM Mentor answers the queries pos ted in advance by the students through Skype / in person / over phone during the chapter meeting
  • Faculty -in – Charge approves and sends in the monthly reports ( including photographs ) prepared by the Student Secretary
  • SEEM Mentor / Representative and the Faculty – in – Charge schedules the Program Calendar for the Year and conducts Training / Industry Exposure Programs / Internship Programs according to the schedule
  • The Chapter can invite the SEEM Mentor for a face to face session twice a year at no additional fee. The Chapter will have to meet the travel expenses for the session only
  • More Technical Sessions by Experts on specific topics can be arranged upon request by the chapter and meeting the program expenses
