SEEM National Energy Management Awards (SNEMA) 2023 took place on September 26th & 27th, 2024, at The Suryaa, New Delhi. Approximately 400 energy professionals attended the conclave.On the 1st day The event was attended by numerous energy professionals from diverse sectors. Mr. S.P. Garnaik, Country Representative India, at Global Green Growth Institute, graced the occasion as Chief Guest, Mr. Mayur Karmarkar, Managing Director, International Copper Association India (ICAI) graced the occasion as Guests of honour. Awards in National Sustainability, National Electrical Safety Champion, National Energy Management Award- Urjasree award, Star SDA Award, Facilities- Platinum, Gold, Silver, Star Performance categories were presented to deserving winners across various sectors facilities, corporates, and individuals, chosen by a national jury appointed by SEEM. This marked the 9th edition of SNEMA, with a significant increase in the number of awardees compared to previous years, receiving over 200+ nominations for SEEM Awards 2023.
Day 1 Highlights:
The program commenced around 2:00 pm with a welcoming address by Mr. G. Krishnakumar, General Secretary of SEEM. Mr. Jayakumar Nair, President of SEEM, delivered the presidential address. Smt. Gayatri Nair, Jury Chairman of SEEM Awards, explained the selection process and emphasized the commitment to recognizing quality and merit. Mr. S.P. Garnaik, Country Representative India, at Global Green Growth Institute, Mr. Mayur Karmarkar, Managing Director, International Copper Association India (ICAI), inaugurated by watering the sapling alongside other dignitaries and felicitated the function.
In addition to SNEMA, our “Energy Manager” Magazine was relaunched during the award ceremony, with Shri. S.P. Garnaik, Country Repersentative at the Global Green Growth Institute, presenting the magazine to Mr. Mayur Karmakar, Managing Director, International Copper Association India (ICAI).
Furthermore, Release of Sustenergy Foundation Study report on Electrical Safety Mr.Mayur Karmakar, Managing Director, International Copper Association India (ICAI) handing over a copy to Shri. S.P. Garnaik, Country Repersentative at the Global Green Growth Institute. This involved Mr. Jayakumar Nair, SEEM National President; Mr. G. Krishnakumar, General Secretary of SEEM, Smt. Gayatri Nair, Former Chief Engineer KSEB & Jury Chairman of SEEM Awards.
