SEEM Conclave 2022 – Report

Indian Energy Conclave 2022 was organized as part of SEEM National Energy Management Awards 2021 on 16^th September 2022 at India Islamic Cultural Centre, New Delhi. Around 200 energy professionals attended the conclave. India Energy Conclave 2022 started with a silent prayer.  Dr. C.S. Azad, General Secretary-SEEM, delivered the welcome address. The presidential address was delivered by Dr. M.C. Jain, National President, SEEM.  Mr. K. K. Chakarvarti, Former Energy Economist, Bureau of Energy Efficiency, Govt. of India inaugurated the event by watering a sapling along with other dignitaries and felicitated the function.  Certificate awarded to the Life Fellows by Mr. K. K. Chakarvathi. This was followed by the technical sessions.

1st session was on the “Adoption of industry 4.0 in MSMEs” presented by Dr. Rene Van Berkel, Head UNIDO India. Presentation on Safety in Electrical circuits, instrumentation and Energy monitoring was done by Mr. Shyam Ravindran, Managing Director – M/s Sonel Instruments India Pvt. Ltd. Mr. Samrat Singh Gupta, Representative of M/s Enking Energy Services Limited shared his presentation on Carbon Trading a tool towards net zero. Mr. Sudhakaran, Chairman, M/s Sanpar Industries Pvt. Ltd shared his presentation on Compressor Management System through virtually.  Mr. S. P. Garnaik, Head – Energy Efficiency, Green Finance Specialist of Global Green Growth Institutes shared his thoughts on “Energy efficiency financing”.  Mr.Chil Prakash, Managing Director of M/s Chilton refrigeration pvt. Ltd. presented his patented innovative, energy saving “Hot water air conditioners”. Mr. Amit, Managing Director M/s Amalgamated Industrial Composites Pvt.  Ltd. explained his innovative carbon fiber shaft revolutionizing pumps. Mr. Hari Balasubramanian, Director India and Middle East for M/s. Janitza Electronics shared details of advanced instruments which can automate your energy management.  Mr. R. Jayakumar, Vice President- SEEM offered the vote of thanks.
